04 June 2024 - 15: 00

CG Les Marines will fight in the grand final of the Iberdrola Rhythmic Gymnastics League to remain in the second division. During the day of Saturday, June 1 in Logroño, the Les Marines team was risking their stay in the second division of the national club league. Despite the great pressure, they obtained great results, highlighting Katya Trukhacheva's two fourth places in hands free and ball. Finally the club finished thirteenth, saving itself from relegation and with the opportunity to demonstrate its high level in the grand final.

The Les Marines gymnasts were in charge of opening the second phase of the Iberdrola League, Katya broke the ice with her hands-free exercise, with which she remained on the podium until the last score, which relegated her to fourth place with just 0,15 .XNUMX of the medal. Sanchia Roberts performed a magnificent exercise on rope, then it was the turn of María García from Club Alcoi with the hoop, who positioned herself as the first non-international gymnast in the classification.

After the break Trukhacheva returned to the mat with the ball exercise. Once again the junior from Les Marines made a perfect pass that placed her in podium positions until the last moment, only to be surpassed by the international signings and once again placed fourth, very close to winning the medal.

For the club and ribbon exercises, Les Marines once again had Leticia Batista, the veteran and award-winning gymnast of the Batistana Club, for the second year.

With the total sum of the six exercises, Les Marines was in 13th place, a very creditable position, since it was one of the only clubs that had opted for its own gymnasts, without resorting to international signings. Thus recovering positions in the general classification of the two phases, after the bad luck they had during the first phase, which saves them from direct relegation and they will fight again for permanence.
next month of July.

The club is very proud of the results obtained, since without having elite gymnasts, they have achieved a good position and even reached the podium in several apparatus. They also want to thank Club Alcoi and Club Batistana for being part of the team and for their good work on the mat.

Great work done by the gymnasts and coaches, Saray Pineda, Mariona Hidalgo, Micaela Crimi, Yana Trukhacheva, Monty Ciborro, Ana Tendero and Yaky Batista.
