The socialist mayor of Beniarbeig, Juanjo Mas, will once again head the party's list in the town in the next elections in May 2023. This was announced by the assembly of the local PSPV-PSOE group after Mas accepted the proposal, opting for mayor again for the next four years.
"I feel very motivated before these elections because Beniarbeig's socialist candidacy is made up of a group of very committed and hard-working people," said Mas. The PSPV-PSOE candidate has highlighted the illusion before decisive elections that take place after a complex and tough legislature. "As a candidate for mayor of Beniarbeig I have the endorsement of experience after a very complicated period for the administration such as the pandemic, as well as all the implications of it within the different municipal management areas", he has assessed. .
Likewise, the candidate has thanked the assessment and support of the local socialist group to trust him again. "My candidacy is, in short, a model of continuity for the people of Beniarbeig and the beginning of new challenges to complete the projects and lines of work of the progressive socialist government" Mas has finally summed up.
José Ramiro (Ondara) and Marina Renner (Benissa) will also run for mayor
In addition to Mas, José Ramiro, also the current mayor of Ondara, confirmed last week his revalidation as head of the list in the Ondara socialist candidacy. Ramiro accepted the party executive's proposal at the start of the course dinner that took place recently. For her part, Marina Renner, will lead the PSPV-PSOE of Benissa with a "young and renewed" list, according to what she assured after communicating the decision of the local assembly that she confirmed her candidacy.
