Churches in Pego: location and characteristics

In Pego there is a church, the church of the Assumption of Our Lady. It is in the Renaissance style and was built in the XNUMXth century. The stone bell tower is in the Valencian Baroque style.

Inside it preserves artistic pieces of great interest, such as the altarpiece of the Virgin of Hope, from the 15th century; the small altarpiece of Christ and Mary, called "The Double Veronica", from the 14th century; and the image of the Holy Christ of Providence, from the 15th century.
