Last Friday, May 27, the exhibition THREE-DIMENSIONALITY IN GATA was inaugurated at the Casal de la Música de Gata. An exhibition whose backbone is three-dimensionality, understood in a non-dogmatic, open way and with a wide variety of materials and concepts.

The exhibition on three-dimensionality is already a classic within the thick annual program of the contemporary art school, this center organizes exhibitions of its students whether in Gata or elsewhere, they speak
conferences, screenings of documentaries or films, visits to exhibitions, particularly in Valencia, etc.

The exhibition contains works by the following authors: Juan Escolano, Jaime Pastor, Guido Bompadre, Mª José Cholbi, Pedro Faus, Conchi García, Mari Marino, Manuela Paszkowsky, Mar Fornes, Mariví Puigcerver, and Pep Aguilar.

The authors have used a whole bundle of different materials such as: earth, plastic, textile materials, copper wire, cardboard, book pages, photography, a gown, pebbles, polyester paper, ashes, volcanic rocks, etc.

Exceptionally, the city council of Gata has published a catalogue: Catalog Tridimensionalitat a Gata.

The exhibition can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday from 19:21 p.m. to 12:37 p.m. until Sunday June XNUMX. In the afternoon it still had another inauguration, that of the new space where the Municipal School of Experimental Plastic Arts A. Vives is now located at number XNUMX Xaló street.

From the Casal a large group walked the few meters that separate the Casal from the Plastic School to visit the ground floor, the two floors and the roof terrace that from now on will serve so that the students of this well-known school can experiment in art contemporary and to be able to express it.

The new classrooms were packed with people from Gata and the Marines and Safor from everywhere. The event was attended by the Department of Culture Àngels Soler, the Councilor Toni Arabí, the Mayor Josep Signos and the Ginestar school teacher.

The center's façade displayed two Arte al Vent canvases that will be exhibited at the next event in August this year, created by Fina Gilabert and Said ben Sal.lah. Note that Art al Vent is an initiative that was born within this school.
