The IES Matemàtic Vicent Casells Costa de Gata de Gorgos have started the sexual education program to offer more information on this subject to young people in 3rd and 4th year.
«The lack of information that responds to the needs of adolescents, together with access to adult content on the Internet, is having serious consequences. And therefore, the city council's idea has been to provide an educational program that provides quality sexual education as a tool to promote self-esteem and positive sexuality," the council explained.
The program, which will be taught through participatory workshops, will be directed by La Naturadora and financed by credits received by the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Equality, through the Secretary of State for Equality or through the Agreement on State against gender violence.
