Yesterday, at 20:50 p.m., the Emergency Information and Coordination Center was alerted about an accident between a car and a motorcycle in the municipality of Gata de Gorgos, on the N-332 road, at km 191. One of the people involved, an 85-year-old woman, died from the impact.
Upon learning of the event, a SAMU unit and another Basic Life Support unit were mobilized. Despite efforts, the SAMU medical team confirmed the woman's death after being unsuccessfully resuscitated.
The other person involved, a 24-year-old young man, had multiple injuries but was stabilized by medical services. The man was later taken to the Hospital. Dénia in the ambulance.
