Pierre Flament, a native of Tertre, Belgium, rediscovered his passion for painting in 2018 and dedicated his efforts to, as he calls it, the 'Chabolismo'. This stream intends avoid waste of materialsTherefore, Flament draws on newspaper and uses his hardware store brushes.
On this occasion, the author presents his latest collection of paintings at the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Pego to convey its distinctly colorful perception. In it, the intensity of the color, the simplicity of the forms and the absence of planes stand out. With his 'Shantytown', Pierre employs recycled materials in order to save the elements with whom he works.
The exhibition, promoted by the Fundació Baleària, will be available from January 20 to February 17, 2022. The opening hours of the gallery are:
