The Auditorium of the Calp House of Culture Last week, it was the scene of a moving charity event: the Calp Music Festival for DANA, the aim of which was to raise funds to help two musical entities in Catarroja seriously affected by DANA: La Unión Musical Catarroja and La Unión Musical La Artesana de Catarroja.
The gala, which featured the voluntary participation of numerous local artists, was a true success, both in attendance, with the auditorium packed to the last seat, and in the quality of the performances. During the intermission, the organizers announced the total amount raised: 6.620 euros, thanks to the tickets sold and the Row 0 reserved for those unable to attend in person.
Festival organizer Batiste Pastor distributed the entire amount between both musical groups, depositing 3.310 euros into the account of the Societat Musical Unió and the same amount into the account of the Sociedad Musical L'Artesana.
The presidents of both bands, José Peiró (Catarroja Music Union) and Óscar Guillem (La Artesana Music Union of Catarroja), expressed their deep gratitude for the generosity and solidarity of the citizens of Catarroja.
