Total success of the inaugural concert of the Musical Spring 2022. The Santa María Magdalena de Benitatxell Music-Municipal Association conquered the public that went to the Church Square on Sunday to enjoy their music.
It was the first spring concert for its new director, Manu Romero, who was chosen to direct the band through an internal democratic process last December. Romero has already led different acts and parades in the almost four months he has been in charge, but yesterday he showed great chemistry with the musicians, who were brilliant. In addition, the act was presented by the writer and journalist Empar Ferrer, who dedicated the poem 'Mentre la banda ensawakens amb la nostra cançó' to them.
Again, the local group had to perform the concert in the open air, outside the church. However, from the group they hope that with the removal of the restrictions they can once again offer performances in the parish church, which has always been the house of music.
The next appointment of the XVI Cycle of Spring Concerts will be with the Valencia Chamber Orchestra on Sunday, April 24, inside the church, at 18:00 p.m. The cycle will continue on Sunday, May 8 with the performance of the regional group Connecta Percussió, in the Plaza de la Iglesia at 18:00 p.m., and will end on May 15 with the concert of the OMA – Orquestra de la Marina Alta in the church. , at 19:00 p.m.
