These are the projects executed, for now, in Ondara thanks to the Participatory Budgets 2022

With the 50.000 euros contemplated in the Municipal Budgets of Ondara to execute the projects chosen by the Ondarense population, for the moment, two of those raised by the citizenship have been executed. The most recent, the installation of public lighting to access the municipality's cemetery, was approved by the technical team and the Consell de Participació.

This was one of the projects most voted for by the neighbors and neighbors and it has already been carried out, according to the statement of the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Miguel Gomis. The six new lampposts installed as of November 28 improve road safety, both for people and for vehicles.

The streetlights in question are solar powered with motion sensors. They have a minimum light that, when detecting the presence of pedestrians or vehicles, turns on at 100% of its capacity. The work has had a final cost of 9.853,50 euros, including VAT.

The second project executed with the Ondarense Participatory Budgets has been the installation of mirrors in the Crist neighborhood last October. This, however, had not been one of the most voted projects. Above all, for the residents, it prioritized the ventilation of the municipal sports hall, but, by obtaining a subsidy from the Alicante Provincial Council for this purpose, the Consistory gave way to other projects, such as the mirrors.

With these three initiatives on the right track, the Ondara City Council is now working towards the project of the Snoezelen Room or Multisensory Room, also included in the Budgets as one of the most desired initiatives by citizens.
