Through the Department of Environment and Energy, the Provincial Council of Alicante will allocate 100.000 euros this year to help towns in the province shred the remains of agricultural and garden pruning. A total of 44 consistories - all those who have requested it correctly in time and form - will benefit from this program, created for the first time in 2021 and aimed at populations of less than 10.000 inhabitants.
The deputy responsible for the area, Miguel Ángel Sánchez, recalled the Provincial Council's commitment to protecting the environment and highlighted the relevance of these items "which allow us to subsidize actions that are not excessively flashy, but are equally important for our towns ».
By region, the municipalities of the Marina Alta that will obtain a subsidy are l'Atzúbia, Beniarbeig, Castell de Castells, El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Els Poblets, La Vall de Laguar, Orba, Parcent, Sanet i Negrals, Xaló and the ELM de Llosa de Camatxo.
The cast will also arrive in Benijófar, Catral, Cox, Daya Nueva, Daya Vieja, Dolores, Formentera del Segura, Los Montesinos and San Isidro, in Vega Baja, while in L'Alcoià-El Comtat they will do Agres, Alcoleja, Alfafara , Balls, Benillup, Benimassot and Tibi; to Benifato, Bolulla, El Castell de Guadalest, Orxeta, Sella and Tàrbena, in the Marina Baixa; and to Aigues, Busot and La Torre de les Maçanes, in L'Alacantí.
Finally, in the Vinalopó area, the towns of Algueña, Beneixama, Biar, Hondón de las Nieves, Hondón de los Frailes, La Romana, Salinas and Sax will receive aid.
