El Municipality of Teulada Moraira, through the Equality department headed by rosana caselles, has organized different events and actions during the month of November in commemoration of 25N, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Highlighting the reading of the manifesto with the participation of students from IES Teulada and CEIP Sant Vicent Ferrer, the programme includes theatres, talks and entrepreneurship workshops, and various protest actions such as the lighting of buildings and the placement of a banner with the names of the victims of this 2024, in collaboration with the Xarxa de Dones de Teulada Moraira.
The Councillor for Equality, Rosana Caselles, has highlighted the importance of “commemorating and claiming this day so that one year, finally, we will not have to mourn victims of this great social scourge, which is violence against women”. The Councillor also added that “it is a task for all of us, men and women, to become a just, fair, equal and, of course, violence-free society”.

November 2th
- 19:00 hours: Anselma & Luisa Theater by Laura Carvajal at the Teulada Moraira AuditoriumFree admission, limited capacity.
November 22th
- 19:30 hours: Talk on Entrepreneurship to avoid dependence by René Aguilar. Workshop on initiation to economic independence, organized by the local association AIME (International Association of Women Entrepreneurs).
November 25th
- 11:30 hours: Reading of the manifesto for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, with the participation of students from IES Teulada and CEIP Sant Vicent Ferrer. In the Town Hall square.
November 27th
- Theatre My life revolves around 500 metres for the students of IES Teulada.
Del 25 November to December 1
- Lighting up public buildings in violet and placing a banner on the balcony of the Town Hall with the names of the women murdered in 2024 in collaboration with the Xarxa de Dones de Teulada Moraira.
