The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport has published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat (DOGV), the admission and enrollment calendar for the 2023-2024 academic year in the official language schools (EOI) of Education.
This EOI network, which is present in 72 municipalities through 81 different locations, between main headquarters and sections, allows learning 17 languages: German, English, Arabic, Basque, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian , Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, Polish, Valencian and Spanish for foreigners.

The novelty of this year is that in telematricula.es there will be two different admission processes in the same period: one for face-to-face EOIs and another for eoivirtual.com In the latter case, a maximum of three languages can be chosen in the online application ordered by priority, although the final assignment will be a maximum language. All the people who participate in the two admission processes must indicate in their application the priority in the call for virtual teaching.
Applicants who obtain a place in ordinary admission must formalize their registration at the corresponding EOI between July 11 and 31. The formalization of the registration in the virtual EOI will be completely telematic, while in the rest it will be done in person. However, each one of the EOIs will publish all the information on the registration formalization procedure on the center's website.

Regarding the teaching staff of the Valencian educational centers supported with public funds, the Department of Education recalls that they have at their disposal the Comprehensive Language Learning Plan for Teachers (PIALP), which allows access to EOI courses for free to improve your level of Valencian, English and French.
Teachers interested in participating in the PIALP training actions must complete an electronic application through the Ovidoc platform, the virtual office of the teacher.
The deadline for submitting applications for free English, Valencian and French courses for newly admitted PIALP teachers will be open on the Ovidoc platform from 12:00 on May 29 to 23:59 p.m. on June 2 , and the lists of admitted people will be published from June 12.

People who prove a sufficient command of the skills of a language, by passing the classification test organized by the EOI, can be incorporated into any course or level according to the result of this test.
Therefore, those applicants interested in taking the classification test will find on the website of each EOI both the calendar established by each center, as well as the pre-registration procedure for this test; the necessary information about the payment of the rate, and the way to formalize the registration.
The results of the classification test will be published before the end of the extraordinary admission call in September. However, all schools must publish the respective results before 20:00 p.m. on September 18.
All the information about admission for the next course will be available soon on the EOI web portal. The offer includes 120-hour courses, with four hours a week, divided into two two-hour sessions. There is also the possibility of complementary courses of 30 to 60 hours distributed in sessions of two hours per week, of a much more practical nature.
