Last Monday, the Espai Cultural Les Cases del Batlle in Benissa welcomed more than 30 accommodation, gastronomy, local products and tourism-boosting companies within the framework of the VI PACTE'MA Tourism Business Meeting. The event was organised by Creama's Passaport Marina Alta project and PACTE'MA, with the aim of promoting collaboration and economic growth in the tourism sector in the Marina Alta.
The day offered a unique opportunity for companies to share the connections and synergies established in the five previous meetings, held in Beniarbeig, Xaló, Xàbia, La Vall de Laguar and l'Atzúbia.
The event began with a presentation by Ana Rivera, a technician from the Passaport Marina Alta project, who presented the actions carried out to date. She then invited the participating companies to share their achievements in terms of synergies and to present, in groups, the joint projects they are developing or plan to carry out in the future.
The day continued with a round table moderated by Marta Yáñez, regional AEDL, in which key topics were discussed such as the organization of tourist experiences, the concept of experiential tourism and the importance of inter-company collaboration in the sector. The participants highlighted the essential role of local producers in their tourist offerings and underlined how these alliances generate benefits for both companies and visitors, providing added value to the destination.
Finally, the attendees participated in gastronomic workshops focused on the culinary tradition of the Marina Alta. During these activities, they were able to taste local specialties such as cocas, natural wines, muscatel and sausages made in the area, reinforcing the connection between gastronomy and tourism.
The VI PACTE'MA Meeting of Tourism Companies was described as a success by its organisers, who highlighted the importance of highlighting local traditions, consolidating alliances and promoting joint work to strengthen the economic activity of the tourism sector in the Marina Alta.
This project, Passaport Marina Alta, is subsidized by LABORA Valencian Employment and Training Service and by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, within the framework of the AVALEM TERRITORI program of the Generalitat Valenciana.
