Today, Ximo Puig, president of the Generalitat, has announced that the Consell will soon approve that the Metrovalencia, TRAM d'Alacant and TRAM de Castelló transport be free on Sunday for the next three months.
This measure was announced during Puig's speech at the control session at Les Corts. The measure is part of the set of actions planned to help alleviate the effects of inflation on Valencian families. Besides, the action will be accompanied by a 50% reduction in the price of the TRAM d'Alacant.
The Generalitat considers, regarding the free service: "It will benefit 110.000 Valencian men and women who regularly use public transport on that holiday, and, in addition, it will contribute to winning new users of the Generalitat network".
Reactive Plan
These actions are added to those already presented through the Reactive Plan to provide a Valencian response to the crisis generated by the invasion of Ukraine. This program, as the president has recalled, has a global endowment of around 1.000 million euros.
As basic pillars, the program includes 71 million euros for the fight against inflation; 425 million euros in aid to companies, freelancers and self-employed and families most affected; 380 million in efficiency and energy saving measures; and 68 million euros in actions to accelerate energy autonomy.
Ximo Puig has recalled that the package of measures includes a 10% reduction in fees that, in some cases, will reach total exemption. As in the case of fishermen, a bonus of 300 euros for the at least 150.000 self-employed workers most affected by the energy crisis or 50 million in aid for companies that depend on gas, and that are not included in state measures .
On the other hand, 100 million euros in IVF financial instruments are also incorporated to support companies that have suffered a drop in income. As well as, the increase of up to 30% of the energy aid bonus in the Valencian Inclusion Income for vulnerable families or 11 million in aid for families who install renewable energy for air conditioning and hot water in their homes.
Likewise, as the president has added, 10 million more are also provided to subsidize agricultural insurance in a supplementary way, 188 million for the improvement of urban energy efficiency and homes and 18 million in aid for the transformation of fleets of transport of travelers and goods.
The president has also defended that, with the Créixer Plan, 658 million investment is contemplated until 2023 and that Edificant will allow to end the barracks in this legislature.
Finally, in inclusive policies, he has indicated that Convivint will involve the investment of 561 million in 247 actions in social infrastructures and has also referred to the actions for the reform and construction of judicial headquarters worth 277 million euros.
