A cold drop from the south-Strait hangs over the Marina Alta, according to the UA Climatology Laboratory. This forecast is accompanied by a yellow alert activated by the State Meteorological Agency on the north coast of Alicante for the next few hours.
First of all, for today, Tuesday, the warning remains active from 10:00 a.m. to 21:59 p.m. due to rains that can leave 20 mm of accumulated precipitation. In addition, the Agency specifies that it could be accompanied by storms.
But the alert lasts throughout the day on Thursday. From 00:00 a.m. to 23:59 p.m., the rain and storms could reach 30 mm or, specifically, 40 mm of accumulated precipitation in one hour and 60 mm in 12 hours.
The regional forecast, like the one offered by MeteoPego, is that the instability will last until the weekend. The rain will not be generalized or continuous, but it will be locally intense in certain parts of the territory. It should be noted that Thursday's alert remains active throughout the Valencian Community.
