On the occasion of the constitution of the Ilunión Laundry Union Section SLTCMA/CNT-AIT in the Lingerie Service of the Hospital de Dénia-Marina Salut, the Libertarian Union of Workers of the Marina Alta Region, affiliated to the National Confederation of Labor-International Workers' Association, has announced the reason for this new membership:
This is one more step in the implementation of our union in the region and a clear sign that anarcho-syndicalism continues to expand.
The SLTCMA/CNT-AIT is a union with a totally different model from the unions in the system, the objective of which is only to sign agreements that are always harmful to workers, but which, being "legitimized" by alleged agents are already very difficult to combat.
From anarcho-syndicalism we propose another union model, a union where members and affiliates decide in assembly, where we do not present ourselves to the union elections inherited from Franco's fascism and where the base of our action is the union section where all the militancy of each company.
It is for all this and much more that the Union Section of the company Ilunión Lavanderías has recently been constituted as a first step to prepare a list of deficiencies and totally necessary demands, which we inform the entire working class of the Marina Alta.
