The Advanced Tertiary association met today at the Casa de la Paraula in Baleària Port Dénia with the aim of presenting a new tourism advisory tool at the provincial level. The "Advanced Tourism" proposal is aimed at the tourism sector and aims to define the contributions that the business community is making to improve destinations.

The project presentation day was attended by the president of the Advanced Tertiary Association, Pedro Fernández; the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, the general director of Tourism, Herick Campos, the general director of Baleària, José Manuel Orengo Pastor, as well as the team involved in the Advanced Tourism project and some invited companies from the sector.

The person in charge of presenting the proposal was Mariano Torres, CEO of Sien Consulting, who explained that Advanced Tourism was born as a great consultancy that aims to advise the Alicante tourism sector to take it to the next level.

Participate in the recovery of the main engine of the economy in the Community; support destinations and companies to provide certainty in the field; promote initiatives; and promoting the digitization and sustainability of the sector are some of the objectives set by the project.

To advance the proposal, Torres has advanced that an International Forum of High Consulting is being forged for early 2023 on which "we are very seduced by the idea of carrying it out in a place like Dénia", he stated. In addition to the forum, work will be done on a service charter for both destinations and companies; European funds and training around the tourism sector will be allocated; and from the proposal studies and reports on said sector will be offered.

For their part, Vicent Grimalt and Herick Campos, as representatives of the local and regional administration, have thanked the association for having them to present and develop the project they wish to undertake. Campos, on his side, has highlighted the great tourist power of Alicante that brings together the three basic concepts that he defends in his work: quality, sustainability and hospitality.
