From June 28 to July 2, the Pilota Marina Campus will be held for the first time in the municipalities of Gata, Parcent, Ondara, Xaló and Beniarbeig.
Each day the campus will be held in a town, thus facilitating the attendance of all the boys and girls of the Marina Alta. The Marina Alta pilot campus is aimed at boys and girls from 4 to 16 years old.
The Ondara city council has already announced that they will participate in the organization by handing over the necessary sports facilities (trinquet, swimming pool, sports center ...) as well as enabling one day the bus and the necessary supplies for the participants (lunch, drink, etc).
The Marina Alta Pilota Campus will have technical sessions by the coaches, all of them pilot professionals: Fanni, Giner, Héctor and Néstor; visit of first level pilotaris; Complementary activities such as bubble soccer, water gymkhana, ball, inflatables, water slide, archery, etc.
Campus calendar
The campus starts on Monday June 28 in Gata; Tuesday June 29 in Parcent, Wednesday June 30 in Ondara, Thursday July 1 in Xaló and Friday July 2 in Beniarbeig. The municipalities of the host towns will set up a bus that will pass through various towns in the Marina Alta to pick up the participants every day.
Registrations can be made now on the campus website: www.campuspilota.com. The registration price for the whole week is 130 euros (there are discounts for siblings). The price for single days is 50 euros. Each participant will be given a clothing pack from the Pilota Marina Alta Campus, and each day an album will be uploaded documenting the training sessions and activities carried out.
One of the trainers at the pilot campus will be Nestor Portes, a professional pilotari who is one of the trainers at the Ondara Municipal Pilot School.
As stressed by the coordinator of the Pilota Campus, Vicent Molines, "a campus of the highest level has been projected, with professional players and monitors from the Marina Alta, which aims to bring the Valencian pilot campus closer to boys and girls from all over the region" .
Iván Malter, as a representative of Nitidia Sport, a company specialized in professional sports campuses mainly in the football field, has indicated that the intention when designing this Marina Alta pilot campus has been to give the Valencian pilot the importance and professionalism it deserves .
