The PP assures that four towns in the Marina Alta will lose their bus connection with the rest of Spain

The Popular Party has denounced today in Dénia the alleged suppression of connections in 25 municipalities in the province of Alicante by the Ministry of Transport. According to what they say, in the new map of concessions that the central government is preparing, bus connections with other Spanish municipalities will be cut, which, according to the PP's Transport spokesperson, Miguel Barrachina, and the provincial campaign coordinator, José Ramón González of Zárate, "represents a new blow in terms of infrastructure to the already punished province of Alicante."

The popular ones have also ensured that the Marina Alta is one of the regions that will be most affected by this suppression, losing four connections. In this sense, Zárate has criticized the "negligence and negligence of the socialist governments in terms of transport" and has highlighted the importance of these connections for tourism in the area.

In addition, Barrachina has lamented that all the bus concessions that depend on the Generalitat Valenciana "have expired, which makes it impossible to guarantee mobility between municipalities" and has demanded that mobility "be a right and not a privilege." He has also denounced the "insufferable abandonment suffered by the Marina Alta region in terms of infrastructure" and has pointed out the lack of investment in the province of Alicante by the central government in recent years.
