Thanks to the employment programs of the Valencian Employment and Training Service of the Generalitat Valenciana (Labora), the City Council of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has hired eleven unemployed people, incorporating them into different municipal areas.

- With the Empuju program, an administrative technician position has been filled.
- Through the Explus program, two cleaners have been incorporated.
- With the Emdona program an administrative assistant.
- With the Emerge program, seven workers to clean green areas and paths.
While Empuju aims to promote the hiring of unemployed people under the age of 30, Explus promotes the hiring of unemployed people over 30 and Emdona unemployed women. The first two programs have a duration of one year and the third of six and a half months.
Cleaning of green areas and paths
For its part, the Emerge brigade will work for six and a half months cleaning up mountains, green areas and roads. After a few days of training with the chainsaw and brushcutter on the plot of the El Puig Building, in Cumbre del Sol, clearing and fire prevention work will soon begin in different areas of the municipality.
To do this, they will have a vehicle and all the necessary forestry machinery. Likewise, after the uprooting and cleaning of the vegetation, the paths will be sprayed with an ecological product that will help prevent the growth of weeds.
