A few days ago, the Benissa City Council has managed to mount the new awnings in the children's play area in Plaza Dolores Piera. According to Arturo Poquet, mayor of Benissa, the delay is due to the difficulty of access to raw materials that manufacturers have had.
The installation consists of 6 integrated sail-shaped awnings resistant to UVA rays. 11 posts six meters high are the supports to which the new sails are attached. This investment has meant about 50 euros for the municipality.
Although the need for this roof has been greater in the past months in the middle of summer, the installation has finally responded to "a demand from many families in Benissa", Poquet points out.
