The family show based on the story 'El Monstre Petorro', winner of the prestigious VIII Enric Solbes International Prize for Illustrated Albums, is preparing to tour various towns in the Marina Alta and its surroundings. Paco Cholbi, the author of the work, accompanied by his children, will be in charge of bringing to life this fun and educational show that invites the little ones to enjoy reading.
The tour, which coincides with the launch of the book in bookstores, will take the story of this friendly monster to different cities, starting next weekend in the town of Beniarbeig, within the framework of the second edition of the Fair dedicated to local traditions and associations. The performance in Beniarbeig will take place on October 20 in Plaça 9 d'octubre at 12:00 p.m.
The tour will continue through other locations, such as Tavernes de la Valldigna the October 25, Dénia the October 26 and La Vall de Laguar on October 29. In addition, the show will also reach the House of Culture of Alzira on October 30, at the Jardí Botànic de València on November 2, in Ondara November 17th at 12:00 hours and will end, for the moment, in El Benitachell in the month of December, although the schedule has yet to be finalized.
This storytelling and staging show, aimed especially at a children's audience, aims to awaken a love of books and encourage the habit of reading from an early age.
The story 'El Monstre Petorro', illustrated by Carles Arbat, has won over dozens of readers thanks to its tender and funny story, which is now enhanced by a charming live performance.
