The Department of Festivals and Traditions of the Ondara City Council, directed by Miguel Gomis, resumes this year 2022 the acts of the Mig Any festival of Sant Jaume, which in 2021 could not be celebrated due to the restrictions by COVID-19. However, the current high incidence in Ondara and in the region, higher than that of a year ago, forces the postponement of the main act that was planned: the performance of the No Comment orchestra in the Plaza de Toros. For this reason, this action is postponed to be able to take place on more favorable dates in the near future, in a Santjaumera Festival to be held when the sixth wave and the incidence figures allow the event to be held with greater security.
Despite this, the rest of the scheduled activities will continue, both the acts for children and the raspall games.
The councilor for the area, Miguel Gomis, has invited the public to "experience the Mig Any of Sant Jaume safely, given the circumstances."
