The Jove Ballet de la Marina (JBM) kicks off its first regional tour this Saturday with a very special performance at the Teatre Auditori of the Social Centre of DéniaAt 20:00 PM, the stage will be filled with young talent for an evening that marks the start of a tour of various locations in the Marina Alta region over the coming months.
The amateur company, founded in April 2024, is a non-profit project promoted by the Associació Jove Ballet de la Marina. Its goal is to offer performing and training opportunities to young dance students throughout the province of Alicante, promoting both culture and cohesion among emerging artists.
The inaugural show will include classical, neoclassical, and contemporary ballet pieces performed by the cast. Artistic directors and choreographers Laura and Maeva Perelló emphasize the significance of this moment: "It's much more than a performance. It's a dream come true for many young people who can now experience being part of a real company without leaving home. This tour is a very important step for us and a way to share with the region all the effort and passion that goes into each rehearsal."
The JBM, with the support of various dance schools and conservatories in the province, is committed to providing accessible, high-quality performances.
