The SONAFILM Film Music Festival will celebrate its seventh edition next August in the Marina Alta, and this year brings with it an important novelty: the incorporation of the town of Pego as one of the venues of the event. In this way, Pego joins the already usual Ondara, Dénia, Calp, Teulada Moraira and Beniarbeig, consolidating the expansion of the festival in the region.
The festival organisers and the Pego Tourism Department have highlighted the importance of this agreement, as the union of various towns in the same project reinforces the objective of attracting quality cultural tourism to the Marina Alta.
As part of this new addition, a special event has been prepared in Pego, with one of the most prestigious chamber music ensembles in the country, with recognition both nationally and internationally. Although details about this set and other activities in the programme have not yet been revealed, the organisation has announced that they will be announced in the coming months.
Ricardo Sendra, Councillor for Tourism, has expressed his satisfaction at the incorporation of the municipality into the festival circuit. “Pego is a town closely linked to music.
