The Minister of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor, Rafa Climent, has developed a working day in Pedreguer, in which he highlighted that the Department, through the Ivace, has allocated 2,12 million euros in recent years euros for 14 business projects to improve industrial estates in the Marina Alta.
This investment has made it possible to carry out improvement and modernization actions such as the implementation of bicycle lanes and bio-healthy routes, the improvement of roads, wastewater sanitation, green areas and public lighting using renewable energy, as well as civil works. for the implementation of fiber optics, the improvement of traffic and street signage and the installation of eco-park or waste management systems in the industrial areas of the municipalities of Pedreguer, Pego, Ondara, Dénia, Benissa and Beniarbeig.
In Pedreguer, Rafa Climent has valued the effort and commitment to innovation in the business fabric of the town without renouncing the traditional. Climent recalled the support of the Ministry of Economy with the Pedreguer industrial sector to which 2,5 million euros have been allocated since 2015 through the different general directorates and the different Ivace units.
“These grants - Climent stressed - are very important for the economy of the region because they have made it possible to modernize the image of its business parks and their services and infrastructures to make them more competitive and more attractive for the establishment of new businesses, at the same time as they have improved the quality of life of the workers of the companies already established and of the population in general ”.
"It is a clear example of the commitment of the Department of Sustainable Economy and Ivace to provide our industrial areas with the investment they deserve to continue being competitive and creating employment and that we will continue to support with a new call for aid in the year next 2022 ”, he added.
The councilor was received by the mayor, Sergi Ferrús, the Councilor for Public Works, Viqui Simó, the Councilor
of Commerce and Industry, Noèlia Miralles, the Councilor for Municipal Services, Pepe Cabrera and the Government spokesman, Ferran Lloret and has learned first-hand about the improvement actions subsidized by the Ivace in the Les Galgues industrial estate.
It should be noted that this business area has an investment of 253.000 euros in 2019 and 2021 to modernize the image and infrastructures through actions such as improving roads, public lighting, street and traffic signage, separative sanitation wastewater, as well as the implementation of a pedestrian walkway.
Climent has visited in Pedreguer the facilities of the companies Gil Carrió SL, a family industry specialized in the manufacture of straps for musical instruments and accessories, and Almendras Artigues, one of the companies in the food sector with the highest turnover in the Valencian Community.
