The Consell will allocate two million euros to the towns damaged by the March storm such as Vall d'Alcalà, Gallinera and Xaló

The plenary session of the Consell has approved the emergency declaration to repair the damage to agricultural infrastructure caused by the storm of March 2022, which affected 33 municipalities in the provinces of Alicante and Valencia.

To this end, nearly five million euros will be allocated to works that will mainly affect rural roads. These works will begin shortly and will be completed before the end of the year.

In the province of Alicante, the affected municipalities are Almudaina, Fageca, Plans, Vall d'Alcalá, Vall de la Gallinera, Xaló, Beniardá, Benimantell and Callosa d'en Sarriá, to which an amount of 1.917.687,06 will be allocated. XNUMX euros.

For its part, in the province of Valencia, the municipalities are Olocau, Bicorp, Bolbaite, Moixent, Vallada, Siete Aguas, Buñol, Yátova, Palma de Gandia, Ador, Sot de Chera, Benicull de Xúquer, Agullent, Aielo de Rugat, Aielo de Malferit, Albaida, Atzeneta d'Albaida, Benitatjar, Benicolet, Beniganim, Bocairent, El Palomar, Llutxent and Otos. For the repair of the affected agricultural infrastructure in these municipalities, a total of 3.081.390,51 euros will be awarded.
