Pego Commerce has launched a new campaign under the slogan “Always by your side, closer than possible”, with the aim of reminding residents of the advantages of shopping in the municipality. The initiative highlights the closeness between local commerce and the customer, something that, according to the president of the Association of Traders and Professionals of Pego, Diana Sendra, “is possible because we all know each other here”.
The campaign was presented yesterday during the 30nd Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability in SMEs, and is made up of three videos of just over XNUMX seconds in length. These videos feature three members of the Association of Shopkeepers, together with three residents of the municipality, reflecting the proximity and personalized treatment that local businesses offer. "A service, in most cases, personalized, which cannot be obtained in any other way," said Sendra.
The campaign is being disseminated through social networks and is co-financed by the Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism and the Pego City Council.
Responsibility and sustainability in Pego's trade
The commitment of the trade and industry of Pego and its region to sustainability and social responsibility was evident during yesterday's session. Three local businessmen shared their experiences on how they have implemented improvements in their businesses in these areas. Fernando Sendra, manager of Faempal; Diana Sendra, entrepreneur and manager of La Potingues; and Lluís Signes, head of Human Resources at the company Vigar, located in Gata de Gorgos, were in charge of explaining the changes they have introduced to care for the environment and improve the work environment of their employees.
Among the topics discussed by the businessmen, they highlighted the adaptation of working hours, the promotion of retraining both in the business environment and in outdoor campaigns, and the commitment to equality in the workplace. They also mentioned the importance of the labour insertion of people of different ages, including young people and older people, who need a second chance in the labour market.
The Councillor for Economic Promotion and Creama, Raül Tamarit, praised the courage of these businessmen in making such significant decisions: "We are grateful for their participation, they are an example to follow for the business sector, for their courage in making such important decisions that are so necessary to improve our society," Tamarit stressed.
