The Gimnasia Calpe Club celebrates its continuity in the elite of Spanish gymnastics after its outstanding performance in the 2nd phase of the Iberdrola League, held this Saturday in Logroño. The team has managed to stay in the 1st Division for the fourth consecutive year, and is already preparing to face the next season with the same determination and effort.
One of the highlights of the day was Nicol Bisbal's performance in the rope category. Bisbal was on the podium until the last gymnast, finally finishing in a creditable fourth place, just 0.30 points away from the medal. "Proud is an understatement," they say from the club, underlining the high competitive level and fighting spirit of their gymnast.
The club also expressed its gratitude to Daniela Pico, gymnast of the Spanish national team, who has joined the team this season. “You are wonderful both on and off the mat,” the club noted, highlighting her contribution and wishing to continue sharing future seasons with her. They also extended their gratitude to their club and family for the support provided.
In addition, they congratulated all the gymnasts and their coach Montse Soria Gómez, whose effort and dedication have been key to keeping Club Gimnasia Calpe in the 1st Division. “Let's go for fifth,” was the closing message, reflecting the club's ambition and confidence in its future competitions.
