The Valencian Pilota Club of Calp is preparing to compete next week in the final phase of the Champions League of Llarges, which will be held in Montignies-lez-Lens, Belgium. The competition, which brings together the 12 best teams in Europe, will take place on September 27, 28 and 29, where the Calp players will seek to win the prestigious title.
Coinciding with this important sporting event, Calp's International Promotion department has launched a campaign aimed at promoting the municipality in the Belgian market, considered a highly relevant outbound destination. This promotional initiative seeks to highlight Calp's tourist offer, focused on well-being, sustainability and its cultural wealth.
According to sources from the Tourism Office, "the objective is to position Calp as an attractive destination for those visitors who are looking for authentic and quality experiences, away from the high seasons." The promotional actions include different strategies to capture the attention of the Belgian public and encourage interest in the Alicante municipality.
In addition, new avenues for collaboration are being explored with Montignies-lez-Lens, in order to strengthen ties between the two towns and promote cultural and sporting exchanges. This initiative aims to open up new opportunities for tourism development and mutual collaboration, with a view to consolidating the relationship between the two towns in the long term.
