The Pego City Council has publicly denounced through its social networks an act of vandalism that has affected the Carmen Alemany Bay Municipal Library. According to the information provided, the entrance ramp to the building has been the object of graffiti that, due to the material of the wall, will be difficult and expensive to remove both in terms of time and financially.
"Public spaces belong to everyone, they are our heritage and we have a duty to look after them," the council stressed, calling on citizens to protect common goods. They also encouraged anyone who witnesses similar behaviour to report it immediately.
The City Council has expressed its outrage at this type of act that damages the urban environment and affects public facilities intended to serve the community.
