The accumulated incidence in the Marina Alta as of December 3, 2021 continues to rise, as it does in the rest of the country. The worst news of the day, however, comes with the record of a new death from coronavirus in Pego. To date, the municipality has registered 10 deaths. In total, in the Marina Alta, there have been 213 deaths from coronavirus since the start of the pandemic.
