The evacuation of people and animals that is being carried out is in the areas near the perimeter of the forest fire where it is active: the area of Coma, Carritxar, Xillibre and Mitjanes.
From the City Council of Pego they indicate that the fire is still active so it is necessary to act very carefully and pay attention to all safety and firefighter guidelines.
Situation in the Vall de Gallinera
The fire department reports that the direction of the wind is changing, perhaps at night the fire is approaching Benimaurell. The City Council indicates that the public pool will be available in case the media need it to extinguish the fire (in this case it will be closed to the public).
