The Department of Culture of Benissa has organized, on the occasion of the beginning of the course, the 'Mostra d'Art'. This is an exhibition that will open on September 9 and will remain open until October 8. The cast of 16 artists from the entire region is made up of Juan Caravaca, María Cardona, Joan Castejón, Pepa Espasa, Andrés Manuel Lambert, Imma Mengual, Toni Ortolà, Luz Parra, Ramón Pérez Carrió, Natalia Ribes Hankins, Carmen Ruano, Àlex Seguí , Tomás Sivera, Txin, Eugenia Vázquez-Gudin and Vidal Porres. All these men and women, virtuosos of the plastic arts, are finalizing the large format works that have been created on purpose for this particular event.
According to the delegate councilor, Rosa Lucía Pino, the idea of the department is that this project continues to grow and new editions can be reproduced over the next few years. For this reason, she has said, "we have made an important commitment in the communication and dissemination of 'La Mostra', since we are very interested in seeing residents of Benissa but also of the entire region".
The informative signage indicates that the visiting hours will be from Tuesday to Saturday between 18:00 p.m. and 20:30 p.m.
