Creama receives more than €750.000 from Labora to develop the Marina Alta XII Regional Employment Workshop

CREAMA once again is the beneficiary of a Labora subsidy for the amount of €754.063,20 in order to develop the Marina Alta XII Employment Workshop.

This workshop, promoted by the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor through the General Directorate of LABORA-Valencian Employment and Training Service, seeks to improve the employability of 30 participants by combining employment and training that will allow them to obtain a certificate of professionalism that will enable them to practice professions with a future in our region. With these programs, the Consortium's commitment to the qualification and employability of workers in the Marina Alta is demonstrated, as well as to the sustainable development of the region through the cooperation and collaboration of Creama members.

Until December 2023, a total of 5 Professional Certificates will be taught, grouped into 3 specialties, training 10 people in each of these specialties. Theoretical training will be located in the accredited training centers for each of them:

  • Social and health care for dependent people, in the training center Cream Benissa
  • Dynamization of free time and community activities at the Creama training center Xàbia
  • Administration and Management at the Creama Pedreguer training center

The direction of the employment workshop will be located in the Creama Benissa agency, and the practical training will be carried out in the different municipalities that make up the consortium (Benissa, Calp, Dénia, Gata de Gorgos, Pedreguer, Pego, Teulada-Moraira and Xàbia) allowing, in addition to learning and practicing a trade, the interrelation of students from neighboring towns, favoring and promoting knowledge of the region and territorial structuring through a regional vision common.

Specialty: Social and Health Care

People will be trained in the area of ​​care for dependents, carrying out internships in the publicly owned residences of the consortium municipalities and which will facilitate obtaining the qualification and official title that enables them to work in a sector with a growing demand in our region. .

The support of the 8 consortium town halls for the development of these specialties is entirely appropriate and essential to qualify and value the services that will be provided, since it participates in the objectives of economic development and quality job creation shared by all Consortium members.

Specialty: Dynamization of free time and community activities

Specialty that allows people to be trained in order to encourage participation and revitalization resources, as well as favor socio-cultural development by supporting the team that develops the experimental programs derived from the local agreement on Employment and Local Development of the Marina Alta, is It intends to continue with the revitalization and adaptation of the routes to various groups that contribute to the structuring of the region.

Specialty: Administration and Management

Workers will be trained in administrative activities in coordination with the Marina Alta Passport Experimental Project team derived from the local agreement on Employment and Local Development of Marina Alta to collaborate in the introduction and recording of data and texts on the Project website Passport. Likewise, we will collaborate in the digitization of the Creama archive with the aim of facilitating its preservation.
