The data published by the Conselleria de Sanitat point to a decrease in the accumulated incidence in the Marina Alta. Today's update, Friday February 4, reveals a drop of more than 500 points. Today comes with both good and bad news. The Marina Alta has registered three new deaths, one of them in Calp and the other two in Teulada. Thus, the total number of deaths from COVID in the region amounts to 237.

By municipalities, the situation of Dénia It is currently the most worrying, it has added 429 new infections since Tuesday. However, its accumulated incidence drops more than 200 points and stands at 3.434,75. For its part, Xàbia has been able to reduce its incidence by almost 500 points and, currently, it registers 3.333,81 cases per 100.000 inhabitants. The new infections in the town are 213.

In the rest of the Marina Alta, the municipalities have also seen a decrease in new infections. Calp has added 124, Teulada-Moraira 69, Benissa 104, Pego 78, Pedreguer 49, Ondara 85, Gata de Gorgos 38, El Verger 70, Poble Nou de Benitatxell 5, Xaló 7, Els Poblets 3, Orba 17, Beniarbeig, Murla and Benimeli 4 each, Parcent, Vall de Laguar, and Castell de Castells 2 and Benidoleig, Llíber, Sanet and Negrals, Ràfol d'Almúnia and Atzúbia only 1 each.
