Last Monday, the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, announced a new call for the Bo Viatge programme. This was confirmed at the award ceremony for the Comunitat Valenciana Turisme Prizes, which are awarded annually to recognize people, entities and institutions that have stood out for their work in favor of tourism.
During his speech, Puig described tourism as "a key element in the present and future development of the Valencian Community" and showed his intention to increase the allocation for the Bo Viatge programme.
An initiative from which, according to Puig's calculations, 260.000 Valencian men and women have already benefited. In addition, the president stressed that this program contributes to boosting the tourism sector and offers the public the opportunity to get to know the entire Valencian territory.
