74 pegolín boys and girls will participate this year in l'Escola Matinera for students who need to go to their respective centers one hour before the start of classes. The service created and financed by the City Council of Pego, has been promoted with the purpose of helping parents who need to leave their children at school before the official start time, as explained by the Councilor for Social Services, Merxe Bolta.

The service, which will come into operation from September 12, the day the course begins, has five monitors that will be distributed among the four schools in the municipality: Ambra, Carolina Sala, Sant Antoni and Rosalia Bondia. These monitors will be in charge of organizing a series of activities to liven up the wait for the start of classes for boys and girls, aged between 3 to 12 years.
“Despite the fact that there are already some centers that are aware of this service, this is the first year that it will be financed and coordinated (through the Lauter company) by the City Council. We believe that it is necessary to help families who have complicated schedules. With the Escola Matinera we try to make family conciliation easier”, emphasizes Bolta. Likewise, the mayor wanted to thank the different schools and AMPAS "for their collaboration and cooperation so that this initiative can be carried out."
