OPINION OF COMMITMENTS PER CALP
On the 23rd, it is public knowledge that the Ministry of Education has allocated 12,7 million euros for the construction of the second institute in Calp, in a month, it will transfer the status of the rest of the corresponding works to Pla Edificant.
From Compromís per Calp, celebrate that the ministry has complit in the compromise acquired at the moment, which shows that when the leftist governs, the diners are dedicated to improving the life of the citizenry. It supposes a change of model of 180º with respect to the previous government of the generalitat, which not only will not make the necessary educational investment, but more by month will generate the Ciegsa company that has supposed some cost overruns for the whole of citizenship of 1.000 million euros.
Together with the news, the Generalitat has transferred information on the rest of the works that depend on the Pla Edificant. The most cridanera is the work in the Gargasindi special education school: Inexplicably, the city council will choose to tender the demolition of the old center from one band and the construction of the nou from another band. In this way, all the bureaucratic procedures are multiplied by two, which means that the work has no more than six months of delay. According to Compromís per Calp, this is inexplicable, and at the plenary session they will demand that they assume political responsibilities in this regard.
According to Ximo Perles, spokesperson for the coalition: "We have held declarations by the mayor's office claiming the delegation of competences for the construction of the second IES, what we did not know was that, although it did depend on the city council, it carried a retardation of this magnitude due solely and exclusively to municipal decisions. Do not feel that the demolition of the old center and the construction of a new one are contracted separately, and it has multiplied by two all the terminis”.
With regard to the budget endowment for the construction of the second institution, the coalition has been optimistic: “We could not expect better news by this 2022 than the one that has been transferred by the Ministry. If the City Council made a commitment from the first hour for this project, in order to try to cede public land to a private company to build a concert center, we will do without this provision”.
Tanmateix, s'ha fet a review of the set of investments made in the municipality that depend on the Pla Edificant promoted by the Conselleria d'education: they will approve their millions for the construction of the Gargasindi college, €600.000 for the construction d'un gymnasium and the adaptation of the concierge's house in the Azorín college, €150.000 for renewing the internet cable at the IES Ifach, €150.000 for the storage of corridors in the Mediterrani college, €100.000 to refurbish the bathrooms in the main building of the Oltà school, and an investment of €17.000 in the Gabriel Miró school to soundproof the gymnasiums, menjador and the music classroom. Tot i això, fins ara l'ajuntament només ha segut capaç d'executar per complet the two últimes inversiones that ací s'indican.
