The Valencian group Compromís de Pego has organized a talk for next Friday June 17 to talk about energy in the municipality. It will address the energy future of this and the other towns in the region in an open-air act in the square of Sant Josep (in front of the hermitage).
In a context of climate emergency and energy poverty, some of the topics that will be discussed will be local energy communities, options and technical issues for energy self-consumption, aid available from the different public administrations or the role of city councils in the energy transition. .
The speakers who will participate will be from different areas, from regional public officials to technicians from the business sector of the municipality. In this way, it is intended to address the issue from all points of view and in a global way.
