Compromís Marina Alta is renewed in the towns, this has been confirmed today by the regional executive. Until September 30, the local groups of the Valencian formation will initiate the first call for the Local Congresses.
This process is part of the congress period that began in June with the VIII National Congress that ended with Àgueda Micó as National Secretariat and the Regional Congress that chose the Dianense María José Garcia as Regional Secretary. The region currently has a majority of MÉS militancy within the Valencianist Compromís coalition and therefore the majority of groups will renew their organic positions with this militancy.
In this way, the municipalities initiate an organic renewal from the debate, consensus and participation of the militancy through the election of the local secretariats and the members of the executive offices.
As they explain from the training, the renewal of the groups has a clear objective, "strengthen the groups and set the fundamental objectives to make the Valencian project, the project capable of changing the lives of the people of the Marina Alta. Leading the great political battles of the XNUMXst century that the region needs: Public and dignified health, public transport that spreads the territory, more and better infrastructures, more environmental vision to face climate change, future for the earth, reinforcement of actions social, educational and economic promoted by the Botanic and policies to make the Marina Alta a region with memory and future, placing our identity as a people and our culture at the center ".
García wanted to point out that "the MÉS-Compromís congress process ends in the most important part: the towns.
