Compromís Benissa, in a statement, has celebrated "having achieved" that the Diputación de Alicante, together with the Ministry, invest 15 million euros in the Pla Convivint, in which there is an endowment to build a day center in the towns of Benissa and Xaló.
From the Compromís group in Alicante, its spokesman, Gerard Fullana, has been clear: “Our abstention and negotiating capacity in the 2022 budgets have helped the Diputación and Consellería invest 15 million euros in the Pla Convivint. In this way, seven municipalities in our province will benefit from public infrastructure for the elderly”.
In this sense, the towns, in addition to Benissa, that will have these infrastructures will be Almoradí, Santa Pola, Asp, Biar, Xaló and Novelda. Compromís Benissa is proud of this negotiation and of the work done by the deputy, Gerard Fullana. “A day center is what we have been claiming for a long time. It is a basic need that we have missed for many years and we hope that soon we will be able to see this reality", they have affirmed from the party.
The Compromís group of the Diputación de Alicante has celebrated the news published by the Vice Presidency and Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies regarding the extension of the Pla Convivint allocating to social service infrastructures for vulnerable people. The Valencianists voted abstention in the 2022 budgets of the Diputación after having obtained the commitment of the government to invest 5 million euros in this Plan of the Generalitat, to which the Ministry would add an extra 15 million. A fact that has now materialized and that they celebrate that, with a single deputy they have, they have had "the ability to mobilize the necessary resources for the municipalities of Almoradí, Santa Pola, Asp, Biar, Xaló, Novelda and Benissa".
Spokesman Gerard Fullana has declared: "You made a commitment seven years ago that shows that we are the useful politician, the one that controls the mismanagement of the PP, but we also have the ability to reach agreements that improve the lives of the people of our municipalities."
