From today until September 9, the period for submitting applications for Bono Baby 2022 aid is open. These are aids of up to €500 for the acquisition of essential children's products, childcare, pharmacy and parapharmacy, infant food , etc. purchased at local stores.
This call is aimed at families with children born or adopted aged between 0 and 3 years who have at least one parent registered in Calp in the last 5 years, in addition, the person requesting it must be in an ERTE or unemployed situation or the income of the family unit is below 4 times the Iprem (multiple-effect public income indicator that replaces the minimum interprofessional salary as an indicator or reference of the income level).
The amount budgeted for this program is 85.000 euros and the aid is compatible with other grants, aid, income or resources. The eligible expenses are hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, clothing, complementary items and others of the same nature intended for the minor.
Dynamization of local commerce
The grants are also directly linked to the promotion and revitalization of local local businesses, as they can be used exclusively in businesses that have an opening license in the municipality of Calp.
In order to be eligible for this aid, parents must provide invoices for the products purchased from the date of birth and/or adoption until the date of presentation of the aid application.
According to data from the municipal census, the birth rate has decreased over the last three years. In this sense, it is essential to promote the birth rate to reduce the aging of the population due to the impact that, in the medium and long term, it can have in our municipality, hence the implementation of this type of measure.
