From the AFIC-CREAMA Trade area, the Benissa City Council will invest a subsidy of 76.381 euros from the Alicante Provincial Council to cover up to 50% of the electricity, gas or fuel expenses of SMEs, micro-SMEs, small entrepreneurs, freelancers and professionals . An action that aims to reduce the efforts of energy costs aggravated by the post-pandemic situation and the war in Ukraine.

Isabel Bou, Delegate Councilor for Commerce, has assured: "We cannot continue like this, we must find urgent help mechanisms for those people who raise the blind every day". Precisely, the announced initiative will serve to defray these expenses, although without being able to exceed the total figure of 2.000 euros per beneficiary. These eligible concepts must be able to be accredited by means of invoices, so delivery notes or purchase receipts will not be used.

Applications and deadlines

The deadline and the way to apply for the aid are also listed in the document that is already hosted on the websites. However, with the approval on September 20 at the governing board and its publication on Friday, September 23 in the BOP, the deadlines for submitting the documentation will be 10 business days, so the process will expire on September 7. october.
