It is not an easy task for the public administrations to carry out all those works that were put out to tender a little over half a year ago and that are now compromised by the rise in the prices of raw materials. That is why the Benissa Town Hall highlights the effort being made by both the technical and political apparatus to speed up all the projects. This has been stated by its head, Arturo Poquet, stating that "neither inflation, nor the supply crisis, nor the increase in prices of raw materials are going to prevent us from fulfilling our commitments with Benissa".

It will allow connecting the urban area of the municipality with the railway station. Some works that will foreseeably last a couple of months and for which a little more than 200.000 euros will be allocated from a subsidy from the Diputación de Alicante framed within the Plan + Cerca 2020 that the Cooperation area launched. The tasks will basically consist of the construction of 1.450 linear meters of pavement that will be added to the 500 of the first section and that will facilitate accessibility from Carrer dels Fusters to the railway station itself.
In addition, it is also planned, as indicated in the construction project, the provision of public lighting throughout the entire itinerary. The global amount of the two works reaches 400.000 euros, a budget that has been fully financed by the provincial institution.
