The Department of Education of the Benissa City Council and CAPEVV Marina Alta are working in coordination on the latest technical details of the great event of 'Trobades 2023'. A day that will take place on March 25 and in which more than 10.000 people from different parts of the region will participate.
Although there is still a month left for the meeting, the opening ceremony will be held on March 10 at the Centro de Arte Taller de Ivars with the Sambori Awards, a literature contest in Valencian.
In this edition of the Trobades d'Escoles Valencianes, the aim is to 'recover the green' with the leading figure of the teacher, writer, ecofeminist and language activist, Carme Miquel. With a marked content of environmental awareness, the organization aspires to continue the cultural legacy of a woman who will be the corporate image of the shirts that the participating people will wear. As reflected in the portal of the organizing entity, CAPPEV, the author of the design of the 2023 Meetings is the illustrator and graphic designer Paco Giménez, National Illustration Award 2019, with the graft metaphor as a symbol of hope.
The councilor in charge of the event, Adrián Cabrera, has highlighted the effort of the City Council as a whole and, especially of his department, by going ahead with this great act of support for the Valencian.
According to technical managers of the department, the specific activities of the day on the 25th will be announced in the coming weeks.
