June 28 is approaching and Benissa will celebrate the International LGTBIQ+ Pride Day. It will do so with a program of activities with which it intends to increase the visibility of the group in the municipality and continue promoting educational work.
Lorena Ivars, delegate councilor for Equality, stressed during the presentation of the activities that the current government team once again demonstrates its commitment to Equality and its sensitivity to LGTBIQ+ people.
With regard to the specific activities this year, the participatory mural stands out, which will be enabled for all those who wish to put their messages in the Glorieta Joaquín Piera and Mariana Torres from Tuesday, June 28 to Sunday, July 3. In addition, on the 28th between 19:00 p.m. and 21:00 p.m., boys and girls from 3 to 12 years old will be able to participate in a t-shirt and button workshop that will take place in the same space. On Saturday, July 2 at 20:00 p.m., the monologue 'Pride of loving' by Gemma Almagro can be enjoyed in the Plaza de l'Església Vella.
