2022 has been a year of great joy for advancecem. The headers that make up the group (Dénia. Com Xàbia.com and LaMarinaAlta.com) have not only managed to break their own records, but have established themselves as the preferred media in the Marina Alta, and even becoming one of the most read digital venues in Spain last year.
Are already 13 years which Avantcem has been dedicated to bringing all the local news to the residents of the Marina Alta. It started in Dénia with its header Dénia.com, accompanied three years later and with the same format by Xàbia.com. Both soon became the reference newspapers of their localities, being in addition to the longest-lived digital headers of each municipality. They set out on a path that in mid-2021 was joined by the most ambitious project to date: LaMarinaAlta.com.
The work carried out by the entire team during 2022 has obtained its fruits, achieving the necessary confidence of readers and advertisers enough to be placed not only among the most widely read local media in the Marina Alta or the Valencian Community, but even in a case in the country.
Dénia.com, the most read local digital newspaper in Spain in 2022
Dénia.com has closed 2022 with 7 and a half million visits, which is a 39% growth compared to the previous exercise. This result shows that the Avantcem newspaper was preferred by residents and visitors to keep up to date with what is happening in their municipality, since it was the means of communication most widely read in the entire Marina Alta region, with half a million visits more than the second.
However, the fact that has really been a milestone is that Dénia.com has been the most widely read local newspaper among all digital natives in Spain. In 2022, with public data and audited by OJD, Dénia.com has been the most read in the entire country, a feat that shows the relevance of its content beyond the borders of the town.
Xàbia.com celebrates 10 years leading the municipal press
Xàbia.com is also celebrating, because this year it celebrates its tenth anniversary. And he does it like undisputed leader among the Xàbia press after a 2022 in which he has achieved more than 5 million views or with a 34% growth compared to 2021. In this way, the newspaper ranks as the third most read newspaper in the Marina Alta, having been in some months of the past year even the leader of the entire region.
The growth of LaMarinaAlta.com skyrockets and is already positioned among the reference media in the region
Avantcem's youngest project, LaMarinaAlta.com, is already in its second year exhibiting the enormous potential from the head, with a unprecedented growth rate within the group. In 2022 it exceeded 2 million views, receiving many more readers than other older newspapers in the region. And this does not stop, as month after month it grows to reach its goal: to become the reference medium for the Marina Alta and the Avantcem group.
Avantcem's keys to 2022
As can be seen, Avantcem closes its best year with record figures. If we include the data, the publications of the group have achieved 14 million visits in 2022, reaching a volume of public within the reach of very few. In fact, there is no other journalistic project in the Marina Alta that has achieved half the page views this past year than Avantcem.
The key to this success is undoubtedly the trust transmitted to the readers and advertisers through a job well done during this time. A has been created unprecedented community, connecting with the audience through the most followed social network profiles in the region, connecting with almost 80.000 users who support us on Facebook, more than 21.000 via Instagram and almost 6500 on Twitter. And the idea is to continue betting on being present and close to our public, studying and implementing new narratives every day.
Also as a result of this ambition to take information to every corner of our borders, our commitment to develop a multilingual content, available in seven languages in addition to Spanish and Valencian. In this way, we become in many cases the only option for residents and visitors who do not speak any of the official languages to know the news that surrounds them from the local point of view.
New image and projects for 2023
This 2023 promises to be one of the most crucial exercises in the history of Avantcem, in which new projects and many others will culminate whose results will soon be seen. But, despite our seniority, we feel young and with the desire to constantly renew ourselves, which is why from today our headers have a new image that serves as a presentation and with which we hope you will become familiar soon.
