The fire that has triggered a new alarm this afternoon in the Marina Alta has already been stabilized. It has occurred in the municipality of Benissa, next to the AP-7. From the track, a large amount of smoke could be seen coming from the right side of the Mascarat tunnel exit in the Canelles area.
Firefighters have confirmed that some 8.000 square meters have been burned in approximately two hours. The affected area has been an area of pine trees and there have been numerous resources that have had to act as quickly as possible to put out the flames.
At 20:41 p.m., the firefighters considered the fire under control and finally extinguished at 02:20 a.m.
